Review of Hotelli KaegoeneAs a wildlife conservationist from Nairobi, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotelli Kaegoene during a cycling trip. While my experience was brief, it offered valuable insights into the balance of luxury and value. Upon arrival, the hotel provided a welcome drink, setting a friendly tone for our stay. The room was adequate for a short visit; I appreciated the comfort of the mattress, demonstrating attention to quality. The lack of a cooling system might be a concern for some guests, although a blower was available. The self-service breakfast, while understandable in a small establishment, could benefit from an expanded selection and fresher quality. Staff were friendly and willing to assist, though training in hospitality service nuances would enhance the experience. The picturesque location above a small lake offers potential for lovely views and outdoor activities. The access stairs to the lake are currently in disrepair. This hotel could truly shine with some thoughtful upgrades, and I hope it attracts enough clientele to thrive, paving the way for future enhancements in quality and service.
